Her decision to join Oakland City was rooted in both academic and athletic fit. “I chose Oakland City University because they are a phenomenal school and have an exceptional soccer program that I am excited to grow in and become a better player at,” Chilton said. She plans to major in Psychology while representing the Mighty Oaks in the River States Conference. Oakland City University is led by Head Coach Jamie Bladen, whose leadership has brought the program national attention. In 2024, the Mighty Oaks capped off a championship season that saw them reach new heights in program history. Under Coach Bladen’s guidance, the team has emphasized development, discipline, and a competitive spirit that resonates with athletes like Chilton. Addison’s signing marks another proud moment for Mt. Vernon Athletics. Her journey is a testament to what happens when talent meets hard work and the right opportunity.
