Wildcats Fall Short in Triangular The Mt. Vernon Golf team came up short on the road at Chistmas Lake yesterday against Boonville and Heritage Hills. Cash Willis (Boonville) was the overall medalist with a 37. Preston Russell continued his solid play by firing a 41 for Mt. Vernon. Nathan Craig came in with a 44, while Brennan Austin and Max Hamrick scored 47. Mason HIgginson carded a 49, while Freshman Jake Carlisle finished with a 53. The Cats will have a busy week next week with a home match Tuesday vs. Gibson Southern and Thursday taking on Central and Castle. An invitational has been added May 10th at Princeton.
