Varsity vs Boonville (3 - 2) Win. The lady wildcats battled the heat on Tuesday night at Boonville. They started the game down 1-0 and then fought back to tie the game 1-1 on a PK by Jaycee Campbell. In the second half Greta Buehre scored a goal to put the Cats up 2-1 but Boonville fought back to tie the game late in the second half. At the end of regulation the game was 2-2 forcing the 2-7 minute overtimes where Abbey Bourne had several chances but the Cats couldn't find the back of the net. Penalty Kicks decided the game and Wildcat Goalkeeper Alyssa Fendel came up BIG. She saved 2 PK's in the first give kickers with goals by Jaycee Campbell, Micah Lamberson, and Abbey Bourne. With PK's tied 3-3 after the first round it was sudden death now. Alyssa Fendel stepped up this time to shoot and buried in the side of the goal. She then stepped in to stop Boonville's final attempt with the Cats emerging victorious.
