Mount Vernon swimmers achieve All American honors.

Two of our Mount Vernon swimmers have been recognized by the National Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association as All Americans for performances achieving a top 100 in the nation ranking for the 2025-2026 season. This outstanding honor comes after all high school meet performances are submitted and ranked from all 50 states. Peyton McDaniel received All American status for her IHSAA State performances in the 50 free at 22.98 and her 100 butterfly swim of 54.58. Her placements ranked at 40th and 66th respectively. Ozzy Jankowski was awarded All American for his 100 butterfly State swim of 48.37, and his IHSAA State 100 backstroke time of 49.74. These swims placed him 58th and 99th respectively. Ozzy and Peyton's dedication to their goals, commitment to the process, and champion mindsets have been honored with this outstanding achievement. These honors add to the tremendous Mount Vernon Swimming history on the national level, and showcase the quality and commitment of the program. Their names and performances added to the banners on the pool walls will encourage and inspire more Mount Vernon swimmers to dream big! Congratulations!
