If you're looking for a few fun opportunities yet for the summer in more of a "stay-cation" style, the Mt. Vernon Youth Basketball Association and the M-Club have you covered! Basketball is hosting a golf scramble on 7/24 with both morning and afternoon Tee Times available - see attached flyer/image or contact Jerod Offerman jofferman1184@gmail.com for more details. The M-Club is hosting a picnic on 8/8 (see attached flyer/image) that include lunch from Hawg-n-Sauce, membership dues along with auction items (baskets sponsored by MVHS sport teams and more!) and a raffle drawing - you do NOT have to be present to win! Max 500 raffle tickets will be sold ($20 each) and 5 nice prizes to be handed out (*note: Prizes 1 and 2 can be used toward any purchase at Rural King).
