Lady Wildcats Shine at Regional Meet; Hall Advances to State in Two Events The Lady Wildcats delivered an impressive performance at the Regional Track and Field Meet last night, showcasing determination, personal bests, and record-breaking performances against some of the area's toughest competition. Leading the way was Stella Hall, who turned in an unforgettable night by breaking two school records and earning advancement to the State Finals in two events. Hall captured 3rd place in the 100-meter hurdles, crossing the finish line in 15.12 and breaking her own school record. She followed that performance with another historic race in the 300-meter hurdles, placing 2nd and running an outstanding 45.97 to break the previous school record of 46.74, set in 2014 by Kellen Ray. Attalia Wolf delivered a tremendous performance in the discus, throwing a personal-best mark and earning 4th place. Wolf narrowly missed state qualification by just one place, capping off an exceptional season with one of her strongest performances of the year. Maggie Aldrich also rose to the challenge of fierce regional competition, recording personal-best times in both the 100-meter dash and 200-meter dash. Aldrich placed 6th in both events, continuing her season-long trend of improvement and competitive excellence. Jaylan York ran a personal best in the 200-meter dash with a 12th-place finish. She was also 10th in the long jump. The 3200-meter relay team of Jaycee Campbell, Makayla Schneider, Maddie Abel, and Victoria Poling earned 11th place while posting a season-best time of 10:50.34, demonstrating grit and teamwork throughout the race. The 400-meter relay team of Jaylan York, Stella Hall, Buchanan, and Maggie Aldrich finished in 6th place and clocked a season-best 51.10. The Lady Wildcats placed 9th out of 33 teams.
