Mt. Vernon had a difficult night at Western Hills by being defeated 173-162 to Central and Castle. The Wildcats did not have enough depth in the match to overcome the low scores from Central and Castle. Mt. Vernon was led by Senior Brennan Austin's 38, while Preston Russell came in with a 42. Jake Carlisle and Mason Higginson both shot a 47, while Reese Harshbarger and Nathan Craig rounded out the scoring with a 49 each.
