The Wildcats went on the road to Cambridge and fell short against Gibson Southern 163-155. Mt. Vernon was led by Preston Russell with a 40, while Brennan Austin, Jake Carlisle, and Mason Higginson came in with 41 each. Nathan Craig carded a 45, while Chase Byerly shot a 48. The Cats will go to Boonville on Thursday to take on the Pioneers and Heritage Hills.
