The girls’ track and field team turned in a strong performance at the Gibson Southern Invitational, placing 4th out of nine teams while setting multiple meet records. Senior Jaylan York led the way with a record-breaking long jump of 15'7". Stella Hall followed with a new meet record in the 300-meter hurdles, finishing in 49.06. Maggie Aldrich also made her mark, setting a meet record in the 100-meter dash (13.27) and winning the 200-meter dash. With several standout performances, the team showed its strength against tough competition.
