The Mt. Vernon Boys Golf Team shot a season best 159 and defeated Princeton at Western Hills. The Cats came out on fire and focused on their home course. Brennan Austin shot his best score of the season and earned medalist with an even par 35. Preston Russell had solid play with a 40 in the match. Sophomore Jake Carlisle continued his solid play with a 42, while Ryder Snodgrass also came in with a 42. Chase Byerly and Mason Higginson rounded out the rest of the scoring with 45 each. The Cats will tee it up again tomorrow against Bosse at Fendrich.
