The Mt. Vernon Boys Golf Team traveled to Country Oaks and was greeted with cold, wind, and rain. The conditions were very difficult that had a few teams and players drop out. The Cats definitely had some grit on the day and grinded out a 13th place finish on the day. Freshman Chase Byerly and Senior Preston Russell led the team in scoring with a 91. Brennan Austin came in with a 92, while Nathan Craig carded a 110 and Reese Harshbarger a 112. The Cats wil try to rebound this week with matches vs. Princeton and Bosse.
