The Wildcats continued to show improvement tonight as they hosted Tecumseh and Evansville Christian. 1st place finishes went to Grant Lippe-200m and high jump, Ryan Lilleston-400m,Marcus Riecken-1600m, Braxton Whitfield-110 H, Maddex Salee-300 H and pole vault, 4x100m relay (Lippe, Bowers, Whitfield, Henderson), 4x400 m relay (Salee, Riecken, Whitfield, Lilleston), 4x800m relay (Hartman, Gross, Stotler, Riecken) and Saint Henderson-shot put. On top of that the boys team turned 16 new PRs across the board. Final scores were Mount Vernon 73, Evansville Christian 52 and Tecumseh 41. To cap the night off the Wildcats also won the unofficial event in the throwers relay. The team now gets some well deserved rest before heading to Gibson Southern next Friday.
