Washington Invitational at Country Oaks GC - Par 72 The Mt. Vernon Girls Golf team shot their season best score of 389 in a tough field of competition Saturday at Country Oaks. MV was led by freshman Libby Reese with 90 and senior Hadley Weatherford with 91. Sophomore Aubrey May brought in a personal best 99 and Emily Jones rounded the 4th score with 109. Junior Shelby Lang also shot a personal best with 112. Great job Wildcats! The team improved their overall record to 21-10 on the season. The golf team will compete against North Posey at Countrymark Wednesday and Evansville North at Fendrich on Thursday. Mt.
